I was just replying to the "I love my Tundra...but" thread and thought about how the door chime drives me nuts on my '01 Tundra when the key is in the ignition and the driver door is open. I know this is meant to remind you to grab your keys before getting out of the car but it really is an annoying sound, especially when I'm using my truck as my stereo when camping and such... beepbeep... beepbeep....

On my old T100, I had figured out that a dime fits perfectly inside the little rubber boot that covers the switch in the door jam, and keeps it depressed, but this also keeps my dome light from coming on... also annoying...

So my question is has anyone figured out how to disable the door chime without affecting the automatic dome light switch? Does anyone know where the chime itself is so i could remove or disable it alone?
