Hi folks,
Just got my brand spankin' new Sequoia broken into. Wonderful vehicle but apparently the theif was more interested in what was laying inside, my bonehead move for leaving it out. Anyway, just a reminder to all to leave any items of the slightest value out of signt. Has anyone had experience replacing smashed windows? I have a high deductable so I went to an el cheapo glass repair place. They used PPG glass, not Toyota but I guess it's OK. The thing is, I saw the door before he put the panel back on. The plastic liner was glued on pretty sloppy and there was a cut in the middle of it that he just taped up. I asked if that was common practice to use the old plastic liner when replacing the glass and he said everyone does it that way. I feel creepy just knowing it was done that way. Anyone have a part number for the inside plastic liner driver's side window? Thanks take care.
