Hey guys..

For those of you who feel denied as I did with my mirror-less RCSB sunvisors, I foudn an easy fix-

The 07+ Sequoia sun visors are a direct fit!

I picked up a set on ebay from LKQ for around $50 delivered. I wired power into my overhead console plug (fused), and just bolted everything else up. The worst part was routing the wires through the head liner.

They didn't have tan in the dual flip with lit mirror version, but the gray ones don't stick out too bad on my tan head liner- I forgot about it when driving today until I remembered :D

07DC- I take it you aren't married? :D The mirrors are for the girls!!

The passenger side of my RCSB didn't even have a mirror- that's just plain SAD...

The dual flip feature is nice to have- that's one thing I missed.. no longer :D

-Dave

PS- the idiot decals come off with a heat gun or hair dryer. If you heat them (but not so much they melt), the glue releases and they pull right off.

I thought LKQ has a pair of tan color?

I got a pair from them too... my truck has the harness for it. But fishing the wire over the hole is tough... I cut the wires up and soldered together. Now my DW is happy. I'm careless about the mirrors!

But the dual sun visors is worth it....

They did have a set of tan ones- two actually, but no dual flip, and no lights. The price was the same so I couldn't resist :D

The dash and center seat trim are silver and gray, so it actually doesn't look out of place.

nope. im married but she doesnt use them either. she has this thing she does, she gets ready before we get in the truck. and if she needs to look at something she uses a mirror she carries in her purse. i cant stand for sunvisors to be down for any reason....if a passenger thinks they can fold it down to block the sun it gets promptly slammed right back up where it belongs. :) but no, no one has need for a vanity mirror in my truck. our bathroom has a vanity that works much much better.

Heaven forbid you use a sun visor to block out the sun!!! What is the world coming too??!!
i know. it blocks my view and they are distracting. glad you see my point of view. :)

eesh 07DC your totally a sunvisor nazi lol.NO VISOR FOR YOU!!!NEXT!!
i'd love them not to be there. i'd remove them but it would leave holes. tons of corvette people removed them since they stuck up over the header panel when the targa top was off but i never did cause of the hole it leaves. my dad hates them so i think thts where i get it.

Actually they had a set in tan , dual flip and lighted , I bought them for a little more though .
Mine is a tundra grade and was not pre wired but the needed wires to power them come to the overhead console ( see the bundle caped gray wire and the bundles w/b wire under console) , just soldered wires running to edges and plugged them (harness out of lexus 350 gs early 00 ) works flawlessly and wife loves it .:tu:

If you want to get rid of the visors cleanly, go to home depot and pick up a sheet of Lexan (1/4" should do the trick). You can cut it to the odd shapes (two triangles, two small rectangles), put loop side velcro on the top, paint them, and screw them where the visor pieces went. It'll hold up the headliner and cover up the holes.

I almost pulled them on my old Vette- I bought spare visors (damaged), and cut off the end bits I needed. If you're tall, you do gain a bit of extra windshield doing this- I just use them too often in the truck, it always seems like I'm driving at dusk or dawn..
