Just wanted to share my recent tuning results of my TRD Supercharged Tundra. American Intense Racing of Denver (303-250-1466) are long time HP Tuner pros in the LS world and I'm excited to say...they're pretty darn good on Toyotas as well! I picked up 48whp (450 to 498) and 16 lbs of torque at the wheels (466 to 482). I was hoping for a balance of hp to torque increase...but I'm happy nonetheless! Please note, these gains are at altitude (5280') so you fellas at sea level may experience even better

Nice job and results! Can you share the tune details, what maps and what tuning software?

My apologies for the late reply... unfortunately, I do not know anything about the mapping and tune details, but it was tuned by HPtuners.

HOWEVER...while looking at my dynojet Max Air fuel ratio of 15.13 @ engine speed of 3.57...i got a lump in my throat! That seems awfully lean...Can any of the experts out there chime in and let me know if I'm about to grenade my engine?

Any and all comments are greatly appreciated!!!

Hey Bruce , You lost a bunch of HP and torque low in the RPM's how did it feel by the seat of the pants. All your gains are high up , did it launch the same ? I have a FFV Supercharged 2012 with the Bullydog Tune and it stumbles often going from 1st into 2nd. Bullydog knows about it and I have downloaded the latest tune which helped but still does it. A little far from NY to get a tune. LOL

I noticed that on paper and slightly by the seat of my pants as well, but the way it drives now is much more linear and controlled. Throttle is not as jumpy...which can be fun don't get me wrong. I also experienced the 1st to 2nd stumble so he also adjusted the shifting points and I no longer have that issue. Overall...I'm MUCH happier with HP tune results compared to the stock TRD tune.. which as you can see from the dyno, steadily fell off as the RPM's increased...the HP Tune is a steady increase throughout the RPM range which gives the feeling of "it just wants to go and go"...make sense?
