I have a driver's side EGR tube leak where it connects to the exhaust manifold.
Anyone eveer heard of this?? Is there hopefully a TSB relating to it? Seems like there should be a gasket that I could replace to fix it.
Any help is appreciated, but the "use the search " replies are not.
Thanks

You must be referring to the air injection system - the 5.7 doesn't have an EGR system. There is a flat gasket at the tiny 2 bolt flange where the pipe connects to the air injection tubing from behind the intake manifold. I'm not aware of a TSB for the problem you're describing.

Ok, i sort of assumed it was an EGR type-thing, but that's exactly where it is. I think I may disconnect it and see if there's a gasket that has gone bad and go from there.
thanks
