Does anybody know if this fits in a 2004 Double cab tundra without any modification. I am looking at getting two of them.

I tried one of them under the rear diver storage compartment and it would definitely need to be in a sealed box.
Tried just a baffle board and they don't weight enough and bounce the board right out.
Went with 2 8" subs instead with about 450 watts.
It's loud enough for me!

I just got my SQ 10" today in the mail, it should be able to fit into any hole/compartment available.

Well, I wont be able to put it in for 2-3wks, truck is in the body shop after a wreck. It looks like a stout sub, and is supposed to straight slam from the 300w I am putting to it.

I had a chance to hear a sq10 today.... Unfortunatly not in a tundra... But, never the less, I was pretty impressed...

For the price, they'll be hard to beat...

Well I got my SQ10 and made a sub enclosure that goes in the center console. Man I was impressed. This sub rocks with such little air space. I need to dynomant the center console to get some of the rattling out. The center console rattles on hard hitting hip hop songs. I am just so amazed at the quality/design and the sound of this sub. I played Shirley Murdock's "As we lay" and it hit hard. I would definitly recommend the ED SQ10. I will post some pictures tomorrow. Haven't had the change to upload them. Listed below is my setup"

how would you compare it to other speakers. Say a pair of 8's?

Brandon,

I haven't heard double 8's in awhile. I can tell you though that this single SQ10 hit pretty hard. I had a JL10W3 in my previous car and I can say that the SQ10 hit harder with the same clean sound. My coworker has a Infinity perfect 10 (not sure how many watts he is running) but the SQ10 in my truck sounds cleaner and seems to hit harder. As far as the comparison goes I am not sure what the sound differences are. My friend has a single 8" in his Z, I will ask to listen to it when I see him and let you know how it sounds.

Would u say there is any chance for mounting this in the storage area under the rear seat?

I pretty sure you can. I think it will fit easier in the passenger side easier. The storage compartment seems deeper. I will check tomorrow.

Also my gallery is updated with pics of my sub. All it needs is some carpet.

I'm currently debating on a stealth box or building my own for the center console like you did. Can you provide the box dimensions and how you mounted it? For the price I might experiment with the SQ 10 as I already have the needed mdf for the box.

:ts:

Bottom is 11.5W X 13L
Top is 9W X 13L
7H

Its kind of like a trapezoid.

I removed everything in the center console. Not just the tub but the skeleton as well. Very easy just a some screws no cutting involved.
