[Farnsrocket]

Was checking out my engine bay on my new to me 14’ Sequoia Limited w/104k miles and noticed thick foam all around the intake, pcv valve and by the fuel injectors etc. I did some searching and it appears to be used for sound insulation. Cool and all but the piece around my pcv valve specifically is turning to powder due to age. Seems like it’s gonna make a mess. Any thoughts about removing this stuff permanently????
