Hi there,

I have a Tundra 11-2007 Crewmax limited, imported to the Netherlands.
On the windows are stickers regarding the alarmsystem. On 'toyota refernce' I found the brochure that stated that a crewmax 4x2 limited has standard a alarmsystem.
But all I have is the carkey.
I assume that the car originally came with a remote access and alarm system.

How can I check wether my car is indeed equiped with an alarmsysteem?

Perhase I only need to buy a remotecontrole and get the system turned on?

Thanks in advance.:thumb:

No, I don't have the glass break sensor in the dash.

Thanks, but it is not helpful. I only have the carkey and I am trying to find out if the car came originally with a remote. There are a few stickers on the windows about a alarmsystem. So how can I check if my car is equiped with an alarmsystem? Thanks in asvance.

Re: Equipped with a alarm system?

Yes you will need a remote to operate the alarm and door unlock feature
The remote will need to be programed by a Toyota Dealership per the vin number of the vehicle.
