I've spoken to Gadget at URD-USA and he says he has a UCON-EMS ready to test on a 05-06 Tundra.
  • Contact him if you're in the area where his shop is located, see about setting up an appointment helping him get some testing/data on your truck.
  • This is the last thing I was told needs to be done verifying the UCON-EMS' software function-ability with the stock O2 sensors.
  • There is a supercharger kit he's been testing as well.

Everyone else with a 00' - 02' , and the 03' - 04' Tundras, email him as well showing support that we want a self tuning Engine Management System/computer.
He needs these years as well to test/gather data on.

Keep on sending emails.
  • Let him know you want this.
  • This helps the 1st-Gen Tundra community get what we deserve and that is an awesome Engine Management System.

Post in this thread after you're done.
Thank You.

You might want to explain what this is and why we would want one. Their website doesn't really do a great job of explaining it, and it's not quick to find.

The UCON-EMS product Gadget sells/owns is a self tuning Engine Management System that still plugs inline with the stock ECU.

Stock or along with all your engine upgrades you'll add to your truck, it will fine tune what is the best Air/Fuel ratios, ignition timing with built in Knock control getting you the most HP/TQ Available.

He also has had a supercharger ready for awhile now and needs software/ECU data to be collected on these different years of Tundras.

This is what's posted on URD-USA's Facebook page back in June 19th: https://www.facebook.com/URDUSA
  • UCON-Ethos Engine Management System for the 2005-2006 Tundra 4.7L V8 in final testing.
  • The dash in this Tundra does not have any room to install the UCON like we do in the 1GR applications.
  • Had to make a new vehicle adapter circuit board and extension harness to make it work.
  • The new circuit boards and harness adapters finally arrived today and was installed. It will be tested for a few days, but so far, AWESOME!!!
  • Now we can move forward with our URD Supercharger system for the 05-06 Tundra V8!!

For the sake of everyone that is apart of the Tundrasolutions community, who owns a 1st-Gen Tundra, and wants the best tuning device out there,
Everyone who views this thread, email URD-USA: https://urdusa.com/store/contact_us.php

Lets all work together getting this to happen sooner than later. THANK YOU.

I got a response saying they are coming out with the kit for the 05-06 Tundra "very soon". I asked about the earlier first gens and got a response saying "at some point".

Everyone including you Sean, ask and see if you can be the Beta tester like what has been done with the UCON Athos Engine Management System that is being used on the 2005-2006 Tundras. You Gotta push the envelope to deliver the message with Gadget.

hi, i moved to the west coast, other wise, i'd give gadget my tundra to use to put on & do whatever for the S/C or Turbo. if he still wants to use mine, we can work something out. shipping wise. he could keep it for a month if needed. Gorilla

That isn't the case here for the Tundras, there is no price set as of yet.
The pricing you mentioned is for a kit for the Tacomas which includes other hardware.
