Hey everyone,
Like many other people i have had my front diff. along with axles replaced twice. I have also had some other issues but not as big as the diff. I'm approaching 50k and in 10k as everyone knows the powertrain warranty goes. Didn't know if anyone has had any luck with toyota giving an extended warranty for free or is it something you have to buy? If lucky, how and which department did yuo call.

Thanks,

I believe you have to buy extended warrenty before 35,000 miles. When I bought mine they had to have proof of milage and be less then 3 years.

yeah the ext warranty from yota has to be bought before the 3/36 warranty is up. you can try to find an aftermarket ext warranty to cover the truck after the powertrain warranty, its going to be like getting a warranty on a higher mileage used truck...alot of them are crooks so watch out and do some research. plus they are going to be expensive.

but no, you arent going to get a free warranty from toyota....
