Hello all, Did anyone try to take out the factory CD Playeer w/o CD changer. Would i need to remove the front dash plate or is there a key i could pinch on the side or top of the radio and remove it?

Thanks:sleep:

I recently replaced mine with an aftermarket radio. Very simple. You need to pull the front panle off carefully so you dont crack it. from there you will see the 4 screws you need to remove to pull out the radio and ac controlls. It is pretty straight forward.

I have to say, just swapping out the factory radio with an aftermarket one makes the sound soo much better! Well worth it IMO.

Good luck.

I replaced it with an older Kenwood MP3/CD player I had laying around the garage and I just purchased the wire harness from the store and pluged it in. :)
