I have an 03 toyota highlander and the blower only worked on high. Found on a tacoma forum that it was the blower resistor. Couldn't find it anywhere about a highlander so thought I would let you know that its under the passenger dash and if you have a short screwdriver its not to hard to replace. A soder on the old resistor had come apart but I just bought a new one at napa for 20 bucks

Hey I have an '01 Highlander and I also have this problem. I'd like to fix it myself but I'm not very mechanically gifted and have no idea how! Thanks for saying where the blower resistor is but can you elaborate on how you went about to actually replace the piece and if it was a hard job?
