Hi everybody.

I just got a 06 DC tundra, and I want to do the first detail.
I have gone over the detail post done by Brandom1 afew times,
and want to ask some questions before I order my list.
I payed the truck cash so I'm a little short in cash right now.
I now I need the porter cable and some porducts to follow the detail post,
so for know I will be doing the detail by hand.

My need list:
MEGUIARS CLAR BAR
DG #101
DG #105
DG #951

My have list:
DG #901
2) GRIT GUARD
ROLL-OFF
APC
INVISIBLE GLASS
WASH MITT
WAFFLE WEAVE
ASSORTED MICROFIBERS

ANY SUGESTIONS ON WHAT TO CHANGE OR REPLACE FOR KNOW.

I want to buy::confused:

Meguiars clay bar
Duragloss #101
Duragloss #105
Duragloss #951

for my first detail
is this ok if I do it by hand, until I save up for the rest
of the products and the Porter Cable.

Hi,

I think duragloss are great products, I use 105 and 951 myself. 105 needs some time to cure like more than 6 hours. Klasse is probably a better cleaner than the 101.

Mequires makes good products so the clay should be fine. I also have a wash mitt and a drying waffle towel from them, they will make a big difference. Also get a good car soap, not dish detergent. Get a couple of buckets, a wash and a rinse. Lastly some good micro fiber towels to apply and buff out your products.

Dern, I havent been posting much, I did not see this one.

Yeah what you are wanting to buy is fine. #101 will remove any grime and oxidation you may have, and #105 is a great sealant. #951 will keep the paint looking perfect.

Make sure you have the proper towels, wash materials, and applicators.
