I just purchased some carpted floor mats from my local Toyota dealer for my 2004 Tundra Access Cab Limited. It's white exterior with oak interior. The mats themselves are quite a bit darker than the carpet. Can anyone confirm that this is normal? I'm used to the mats and carpeting matching in my other vehicles.

Thanks! :)

Is it possible that your interior has faded a bit over the last six years?

Yes, possible, but it's been garaged the entire time and the difference is pretty drastic. I was just wondering if perhaps they were meant to contrast as I have seen that in a few other vehicles.

I run on black mats, they are much darker than my gray carpet! ::D:

It's probably normal, even from the factory colors for carpet never match perfectly, so some variance in shades of the dye are to be expected.
