Hey everyone,
So a buddy of mine was showing off this cool PDF he got for his car that listed all the original options and packages it came with from the factory. He called it a "window sticker" or something like that. I’d never heard of it before.

I just bought a used vehicle at an auction recently, and it didn’t come with any paperwork. No manual, no dealer folder, nothing. Now that I saw what my friend had, I’m kinda obsessed with getting the same thing for mine.

I do have the VIN, so I figure that’s a start. But I’m not sure where to go from there. Some sites I checked seemed sketchy, and the big name options are charging way more than I expected.

Has anyone here successfully gotten their window sticker after buying a used car? I’m looking for something affordable, but accurate. I just want to know exactly what features and packages my car originally came with. Any help or direction would be awesome.

Welcome to the site Jordan.
There's a very common theme on many automotive forums. New guy joins, goes right to starting a thread about a window sticker. 99% of the time its spam.
So I'm hoping your in the 1% category and I dont have to ban you from the site. So tell me you're going to be one of the few?
What Tundra do you have? What are the specs on it?

I bought a used SUV at a local auction and it came with zero paperwork—no manual, no service records, nothing. I got curious about the original features after I saw a post on another forum where someone mentioned searching https://detailedvehiclehistory.com Figured I’d give it a shot. After digging around a bit, I found a site that actually worked. It gave me a full PDF of the window sticker, like the one you’d see on the car at the dealership. It showed the trim, paint color, packages, MSRP—way more detailed than I expected. Here’s a screenshot of the one I got for mine so you can see what I mean: I didn’t have to spend a ton either. Definitely worth it if you’re trying to figure out what your ride originally came with. Saved me a headache when I went to buy accessories too. Just make sure the site you use looks legit—some of them are definitely sketchy like you said.

I found a dealer (or auto show) brochure PDF for '02 Sequoias that list all standard and optional features, colors, and interesting marketing text. Not really as official as a Moroney sticker, but still an interesting bit of history.

A Toyota dealership can also print you out service and recall history on a vehicle given the vehicle's VIN.
