Front Brake Issues

I have a 2004 Tacoma PreRunner with about 65000 miles. I've had issues with the front brakes since I've had it. I've replaced the pads twice and the rotors once. Have a GREAT and trustworthy mechanic. The brakes squeak and sometimes vibrate, even after a brand new set of front brakes. I drive downhill every day so I know they wear out a little faster than normal, but I'm concerned there is a bigger issue that we are not aware of. The other day we were taking a heavy load to the dump and the brakes were actually smoking, and this was only a couple of weeks after the new brakes in front!

Anyone else know of, or is having issue with front brakes?

Yeah, you have described almost exactly what I've experienced. I'd certainly be interested in how your experiments go.
