2016 - 1794 4x4 -

For some reason, that I don't really understand, there are only two parking sensors on the front end, one on each corner. Hit up a few Toyota employees, they had never noticed it. Checked a few truck on the lot, again, only on the corners.

1. I've lived without them in trucks for 30 years, but why are they not there? Pulling forward you don't detect anything. Corners work fine.

2. Has anyone added two forward facing ones and if so, where did you buy them?

Probably only need one right in the middle. I'd be willing to bet it could be spliced into the other 2. Shouldn't be too expensive. I would try the wiring first before you drill a hole and mount it.

Pretty much what I was thinking. I'm going to pull off the diffuser anyway to paint it the same as the body...why they left is that silver/gray i'll never know.
