Does anyone else have the problem of while going down the road you hit a bump and the front end feels like it is bottoming out? It is so bad that it has knocked my rear door panel loose. I know that my shocks are not bad because my truck does not hop after hitting a bump. I'm considering changing to rough country or rancho. Would either one of these solve the problem or would I just be wasting my money?

You didn't mention the miles on your truck, but it sure sounds like worn-out/failed front struts to me. They can have a failed compression valve and it not do the typical multi-bounce, degraded fluid fill symptom.

I would not go with a bracket lift to solve this. I'd suggest replacing the front struts with the Bilstein 5100s series shocks/struts.
