Recently I have a fuel smell inside after it sits coming from the back seat. I don't have any fuel leaks on the ground, no strong fuel smell under hood near fuel rails, no fuel smell from under vehicle near tank or fuel lines.

Any idea what could cause this and where it could be coming from?

Any help appreciated, thanks.

Seen quite a few threads on here where mice have chewed into fuel lines on top of the tank. And given that its winter this is the time of year when these threads pop back.

SOLVED !!!!! Gas cap fixed smell issue. The rubber seal inside the gas cap was deformed. However, I did not have any CEL which I thought I would of. Anyways, starting with the easiest thing worked this time.

So, if you have fuel smell after filling up or when you get in check that gas cap.
