Was reading a thread on this site about Gas Caps throwing codes. My truck threw a CEL years ago which was for Evap. Suggested replacing the system, but my mechanic said try a new cap. It worked!

Fast forward a couple years when I started diving in deep on the truck and discovered rust/crust on the filler neck. Sanded it off and put some grease on it. Bought an OEM Cap to replace the aftermarket one for better Mojo Feels.

Yeah. 12 City/Traffic is about normal on my 2002 AC 4.7L.

Highway is better at 18MPG. Tires are 285/75/r16 E-Rated Michelins (52lbs per tire weight).
These bad boy Coopers are about 50 too.
Love having E Ply.

Yes - took out the spare wheel and had two tanks welded into the chassis so that the truck bed is free. Butane conversion was done here locally in Belize. Does about 12/13 miles to a gallon of butane. Butane is 5.90 BZD a gallon and gasoline 14 BZD a gallon. Figure is doing the equivalent of 30mpg cost wise.
US dollar is half Belize dollar.
Installation was about 3200 bzd so wont take that long to pay back.
