I have a 2007 Tundra 5.7L, 4 x 2, Crew Max. It's GCWR is 16,000 lbs. It has a GVWR of 7,000 lbs., and it's curb wt. is 5,340 lbs.
I plan to tow an Airstream travel trailer that has a 7,300 lb GVWR, and a curb wt. of 5440 lbs.
7,000 lbs + 7,300 lbs = 14,300 lbs.
The 07 Tundra should do just fine, and will let you know in about two weeks.
By the way, my mileage to date has been 18.2 in town, with no tow.
