For the mrs,

I notice the epa ratings for this vehicle seem a bit conservative given the vehicle type. What kind of real world mpg numbers are my fellow TS members seeing? Or please feel free to offer any comments you may have on this automobile.

Ive hit 34 on a recent trip on the interstate for 150mi when the wind is "right" overall in the past three weeks of ownership 30mpg is the running average in very mixed driving.

We're very pleased with the automobile overall thus far

I know this is an old thread but I have a 2009 Scion xB with a 5 speed manual and I average 22.8 MPGs combined city and highway. The best fuel mileage I ever obtained in the vehicle was 27.6 MPG.

It's an old thread (2yrs) but is deserving of an update.

Our average is pretty much a solid 31 mpg. I don't think the little car has ever gotten less than 30 in the 35k now on the clock
