I have 2008 Sequoia w 29,000 miles and just on Friday it lost power while driving on the freeway and then just died when i got to the shoulder. It would not start and when it did start it would died after 5 seconds. I had to tow it to dealer. Anyone have this issue or know of anyone with an issue like this?

Thanks.

I've never heard of this on a Toyota. I did experience a similar situation driving a 2002 BMW 530i. After it died, I couldn't get it started so I called bmw road service... they told me that I would have to wait 3.5 hrs, so I told them politely to go to hell and then I disconnected the battery, waited 5 minutes, then reconnected it. This reset the computer, and the car started. The dealer ended up replacing the instrument cluster, I believe. Let us know what they find out!
