I apologize if this question has been asked, but I have 08 Tundra I recently purchased and I just recently noticed the heater is not kicking on. It seems like I have to fiddle with the controls for almost 10 minutes before any air comes out anywhere. Has anyone else had this issue and do you have any suggestions on how you got it fixed. Also the heater air output is pretty whimpy - at least in my truck.

Thanks in advance for the responses

If your truck has the automatic climate control it will not blow any air until the air is warm. as for the air flow check the cabin filter located in the glove box.

The Tundra is notoriously slow to warm up. There is free T-SB-0231-10 for the '07-'08 models that helps some with the warmup time (but not much).
If you have the transmission temp gauge, it is a better indication of what the heater will do than the engine temp. Once the transmission gets warmed up the heater works OK.
