So did I. Seems pretty unequivocal to me:

"You are correct that at one time we did offer an EA air filter for this 2002 Tundra. However there weren’t sufficient sales of this filter to justify keeping production, and inventory on hand, thus the filter was discontinued. There aren’t any plans at this time to bring it back.

Best Regards,

From this type of response, I'd gather that an 'email blitz' isn't going to effect squat. Conversations are going to have to occur a lot higher on the hierarchy tree than this.

Apparently, Darryn actually shows up to staff meetings and is therefore a little more "in the know".

I think I'm going to email a reply back to Mr. Baltes and tell him that, if he ever aspires to becoming a "Sr" Technical Services Representative, he better get off his ass and quit farking around in the break room.

I don't get the argument that there wasn't a "market". The 2UZ-FE engine has HUGE distribution. The problem was that they didn't market it properly. The "oil" part of the business buried the other parts in static.

If the filter is as good as you guys say it is, real world experience, deployments, testing, etc should have vaulted it to the top.
