I have a 2007 Tundra with the Jbl system and I want to install a new head unit but I do not want to use the JBL system. I will be adding amps and speakers of my own. Can I just use a regular Toyota harness or do I still have to use a JBL interface harness. All I need is the power ground illumination etc.....

Youre doing the same thing I did. In order to bypass the JBL amp, you can use the Metra 70-8113 harness. This harness will go either way, allowing you to keep the JBL amp or bypass it. It has power, ground, acc, dimmer and RCA's.

If you plan on keeping your factory wheel controls you'll need a PAC adapter.

^ Beat me to it! :)

Not sure how your Tundra is, but if it has bluetooth buttons on the steering wheel, the PAC will not retain that functionality (or that's what Crutchfield told me, at least).
