My 2007 5.7 Tundra (250k miles) is building to much pressure in the cooling system and the PRV radiator cap is working as should and releasing the coolant. Its not over heating at all but im constantly adding coolant. Last year my oem radiator went out and i got it replaced along with a new cap but since then it has not been the same.Could a thermostat be an issue? The truck isn't over heating and it's also getting to a normal operating temp, im not sure if a thermostat could be the issue. Anyone have a suggestion on what I should look at?

Really hoping it's not a head gasket issue.

Rent an exhaust gas in coolant kit to see if a head gasket is leaking.
