Ok, I bought some 5K light bulbs, but they dont seem to be very bright. I guess that is what I get for not buying HID in the first place. I am looking at the DDM HID sets, I have heard about them on here before and good price. I want the whitest light possible, so should I go with the 35 watt or the 55 watt?

Yeah, when you start messing with the color of regular incandescent bulbs it can really reduce the light output. I plan on using the DDM 35W 4500K kit, since I'm much more interested in function over form. I am hesitant to use the 55W kit (without relays at least) due to the increased current and heat generated within the housing but it should be perfectly safe to have the 35W HIDs with stock wiring.

I have two 35W 4500K HID kits installed on my 2007 Tundra CrewMax Limited and they are the best. You will have to turn the angle of your Low's down because you will get flashed if you don't. 55W is brighter but get very hot. Do not install 55W in your fog lights.

BTW: I bought mine from DDM

*You cant go wrong with DDM 4500K it is the brightest and some people say it has a bit of yellow but that will mislead you. It is pure white. Absolutely no blue.
i got a pair of 35w 5000k. its pure white light or advertise as diamond white. where i live its pretty dark at night and with my headlights on, i really dont see any traces of blue or yellow...its been over a year when, for under a hundred bucks. i should of got hid's for the highbeams also...damn!
I just ordered some HIDs for my lows and fogs. Went with 35 watt and 5000k. I hope I dont have to wait forever like some people on here. Total shipped price was around $92, not bad at all. Got them from DDM.
your 5000k will look nice...now i wished i bought some for the foglights too. damn again
The only good super white Halogen bulbs out there IMO, is the Silverstar. It gives that whitter color without giving up the brightness. Those cheaper bulbs out there are just a regular cheap Halogen bulb with a blue tint on them. It makes the beam so transparent especially in the rain, junk. Go 5000K or 6000K HID 35W and you'll love it. I got the 6000K and I'd never go back to Halogens.
Do a proper retrofit ...! if you are looking for well projected light output!
55w DDM 6000k = 35w 4300k bur more brigther!
