Sorry if this is kind of a repeat thread, but a search didn't turn up the answer to my question.

As the title states, what highest mileage at which your Check Engine Light has come on due to the VVTi spring issue? My 2010 has 3600km (2200 miles) on it and haven't had a problem; and yes, my VIN falls within the criteria.

From what I've been reading, it seems that this happens in the first 300-400 miles or so. Has anyone had it come on at say the 700-1000 mile mark or later?

Thanks!

Now I am at 2450mi. And the CEL only came on once at 334mi.
I really don't want to see the CEL come on again.

I tried to call the dealer where truck was bought and was put on hold and forgot about. I called local and dude played dumb i guess. My question is, the vvti prob only occurs in first 1000 k mi or so, if not I should be fine? My vin falls in list and I have 4500k and no CEL or nothing, just weird shift patterns day to day. Thanks.
