Does anyone know how many days, cycles, miles it takes for the OBDII computer to readout ready? I had to replace a O2 sensor and reset the check engine light with my Scan Gauge and after 4 days of driving over 700 miles it still has the readout of No codes, Not Ready? Anyone know how long it will read Ready? I know that this state is required for my smog check.

I just changed mine and it took about a week and then it went off.
It says in the book that it takes about 5-7 drives but mine probably was more than that.
I just changed my other o2 censor the other day and I'm waiting for my check engine light to go off as well.

Maybe yer cable or Scangauge might be faulty? Drop by AutoZone and see if they can pull info from yer ODBII port. ;)

I had the same issue with my 01 Tundra just a couple of weeks ago. Changed the AF sensor and had P0446 evap code too, so I changed the gas cap. It took days until I found the attached TSB and finally got the truck to pass inspection. I still had an incomplete evap code, but I passed NY smog test.
