Good stuff , I'm on my second set of 02 sensors at 44k miles the first set went at 22k the second set went at 44 k. So mine last 22k per set which sucks.
Warranty they extended to 2009 - on a 2002. 7yrs and 100k. Ofcourse I missed it by 1 yr. So this one is do it yourself. these sensors from the dealer come in pairs - that should tell you something- mine were about 180.00 for two. Factory sensors for this kid.

Nice write up-

ok - I think I totally screwed up and ordered the wrong thing....

ya see - I think there is a difference between the rear and front o2 sensors.

1: the o2 sensor has a different input to the computer - as seen in the pix below - the picture shows the old one and where the connector goes........in the next post I will show the new connector and you can see that it does not "fit"

you can also see there is no way to use the normal socket that I purchased to get these off as well.........

so do I take off the cover with the 2 bolts on the sides of the sensor?

and then just muscle the o2 sensor outta there?
