2006 Toyota Sienna. I need to replace my rack and Pinion boot on the passenger side. Is there a kit available for me to replace it w/o having to take it apart? ( ie: a 2 piece boot repair kit)
Or if I need to take it apart can you point me to some instructions as to how to do so? I am handy with tools. Am worried if I take it apart it may affect alignment/steering etc. if Idont get it back exactly right.

Did you ever find an answer or have the repair done?

I do not know of 2 piece boots. Normal procedure to replace a rack end boot would be to remove the tie rod end, the jamb nut and replace the boot. You can mark the tie rod and tie rod end to avoid having to get an alignment but, I would not recommend it. Even a slight error can have the toe adjustment off enough to cause premature tire wear.
