Im not sure how well this would work for a CM, but for the amp rack on my DC I used these metal straps I found at Home Depot in the roofing department. I bent them in the vise to match the angle on the back wall, then secured them to the back of the amp rack. It holds very solid, and I just used the child restraint holes for the top mounting bolts. Maybe something similar can be rigged up for a sub box.
