THE reason I bought my 2008 Tundra (from a welder for whom everything went bad in a single day) was that this truck still has hydraulic steering assist. Are there any indications whether Totaya will keep his feature or will they also buckle under and take it to electrics (thus garanteeing that this pickup will be the only one of their products that I will ever own)? I was reluctant about electric steering assist for theoretical safety reasons but since I have driven that type too for about 6 years I definitely remain anti-electric but now for a double safety-reason. Is it me or is it easier to stay on the road while looking to the side with hydraulic steering? I have a mind to collect and average out the corrections per kilometer with each type, I think hydraulics would win by a wide margin. I could be wrong.
