I have a 2006 double cab SR5.

I recently got a set of DDM 6000k HID 35W lights for the fogs and lights. I decided to tinker with it this morning and found that installing the factory halogen in the passenger side h4 tab got the lows, highs, and fogs to work great, even had the indicator on the dash.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can keep this going? I dont want to keep a 12V halogen under the hood because it gets really hot.

Any suggestions on how I could do this and keep the voltage and ground going through the system so it works well?

I had the same problem w/ my truck and aftermarket HID's. I installed a resistor (10k ohm IIRC ) across the passenger side low beam wires and everything functioned correctly after that.

Thanks for the help. I ended up going to autozone and getting a 926 base bulb, wiring it to the two hot side (leaving the ground open) on the passenger's side and putting a little amber bulb in there to have a 12v across that side. It worked great!
