Hey all. Ok I know this is beating a dead horse but I did all my research and just want some confirmation before I placed an order since this is a 2k plus investment. I have seen a couple threads where 35" will fit on 3/1 lift and some folks agree and some disagree. Here is what I'm looking at and I just want to confirm it will fit.

Truxxx 3/1 kit
Wheels: Rockstar 20x10 -24mm offset and 4.56 backspace (not sure what backspacing means) Also, I know tons of folks have rockstars but I just love the look!

The tires I'm lookin at are:

305/60/20 (34.4)
315/60/20 (34.9)
295/60/20 (33.9)

Do you guys forsee any issues with this set up? Will any trimming be necessary. Btw it will be installed on a 2008 CM.

Go for it man - gonna look sweet. 305's at a minimum - i say 315's on the 10 inch rim.

Depending on the backspacing (I'm FAR From an expert on this though, so someone can correct me), you really won't want to run wider than a 305 width. I guess if the backspacing is more than stock, you will be fine.

305 is the widest I've heard on stock rims. You might run into problems if you go wider on a stock sized rim. I think the stocker's are 9 so yo will prolly be fine with the 10s.

stockers are 8 inches wide...

if you want 35 inch tires - go big or go home. 315 all the way and just trim/bend the skid plate. you'll be fine.

Personally, I'm going with 305/55/20 on 20x9 monsters and a LRO 3/1 kit. 33x12.50 is enough for me to sit in houston traffic with on a daily driver truck.
