I know there are a lot of wheel tire questions, but I searched and didn't find an answer. I have the 20" BBS wheels that came with the XSP package. I want to put 305/55/20 tires on them. I bought the Bilstein 5100's but have not installed them yet. Should I put them on middle setting or the highest. I do not plan on lifting the rear and do not want a nose high truck. The offset on the wheels is 50mm. Not sure on the backspacing. I currently have 305/50/20 tires that came on the truck.

Here is a link to the wheels:

I have Nitto All-terran 305/55/20 on a set of the JTI wheels that come with xsp package. I have the top gunz 2.5" lift in the front. The tires are about 1/4" from the UCA but havent touched. I don't know if the BBS have the same offset...

try it out and see how it rides. It's not even going to be noticable as in nose high.

I'm in the same situation as you...

I have the BBS rims with the ProComp Leveling 1.5 inch kit in the front. I currently have the Michelin Latitude Tour 305x50x20 tires that came with it and i want just a little more height and aggressivenes to the tire. I am looking at Nitto Terra Grapplers with 305x55x20 ... will this work out?

I'm new to this whole tire, spacing, big truck business, so PLEASE help a brother out. I've spent the past few days of free time doing alot of research on my current tire and the Nitto TG's...

So far, this has been my findings.

My BBS rim is 20x9inches

The Michelins are 305x50x20 with the specs of
Rim with Range 8.5-11 (check)
Overall Width 12.44 on 9.5 (i have 9 inch so it would be 12.24)
Overall Diameter 32.05 (this is what i want more of)
Tread Depth 10/32 (also want more of this)

The Nitto TG's are 305x55x20
Rim with Range 8.5-10.5
Overall Width 12.60 on 9.5 ( 9 inch would be 12.40)
Overall Diameter 33.07
Tread Depth 15.6/32

I feel like i have all my specs right for the BBS Rim, but I'm really seriously new to all of this. Now, Will this fit on my truck with the 1.5 leveling kit without rubbing? And IF it rubs, where will it rub?

Thanks in advance!!

Good job on your research. The 305/55/20 will work just fine with your 20x9s and 1.5" level kit. You shouldnt see any issues at all other than maybe having to bend the skidplate up a bit. Another tire I would suggest at least looking into is the 305/55/20 ProComp Xtreme A/T. Great tire and a 40k mile warranty.
