2020 tundra, looking for 12v source while truck is running and off when not. It is just to turn on a motorola radio, about 2-3 amps at the most. Main power to the radio is wired to battery, just need a good clean power source so the radio will turn on while the truck is running. Even ACC hot will do the trick too. Would like to take it from the fuse box or off a wire with a tap and fused.

How about the wire to the cigarette lighter/power plugs below the a/c etc. controls? You need a constant power wire to keep your pre-sets. Check the harness instructions and you will see which is which. I believe blue-yellow=constant (with my install there were two wires requiring constant power.), Grey is the "switched" power and will work as you desired.
However if you have a lighter element or a cigarette lighter/power outlet adapter you can just plug it in and see if it is usable. I installed a new Boss unit in my '02 and the original power wire (grey) was switch controlled??? Chap
