Did some searches and am thinking about replacing some of my interior lights with the LEDs, at least the two map lights in my '06 Tundra AC. A lot of info, but was wondering if somebody could explain or has a reference link showing how to get to the lights for replacement. Would like to know what i'm getting into beforehand. Thanks!

Well, there is no real write up because it's probably one of the easiest things to do.

Open up the little flip down garage door or sunglass holder, and take the 2 phillips screws out.

Disconnect the wiring harness. Remove the 5 or 6 phillips screws that hold the map lights on. Pop the lenses off, replace bulbs. Reverse steps.

If you want to go all out, do the map light mod. It involves removing those silver plates that angle light. Just file down the 2 little dabs of glue and they pop right off :tu:
