I have a 2001 tundra, and I've been trying to add a keyless entry system(avital 3100L). This has been going very poorly. Whenever I connect the "- Lock, +unlock" to the green/white connector in the driver side kick panel, it locks the doors and won't unlock. My power and ground are fine, I tested them. Any info? I can't seem to find anybody who is having this issue online, and from all of the diagrams I've found a relay isn't needed, and my wiring is correct, so I believe I have a faulty control unit.

Quite late, but for the next reader..lock and unlock are separate wires.
