This coule be a question to ask in the engine area but I will ask it here to start. I am having a family friend do the 90k timing belt change. He says everything looks brand new on the car. If it were his car he would not change any of it. Except serp belt because it is already off and we ahve the part. He said if for some freak reason the timing belt were to break it would not harm the engine because it is a non interference engine. From what EVERYONE on here is saying, that if a timing belt brakes you have to buy a new engine basically. Who is correct and why is him or ya'll right? Thank you
