Hey guys wondering if anyone has used a reconditioned battery from Interstate. I called them up and they have em for 37 bucks. Their definition of recon can be anything from a asthetic deformity like messed up letters or cracked handle to a battery that was purchased and returned because it was wrong model. All are load tested and come 90 day return policy. Any feedback appreciated.

we have been using interstate batteries new and reconditioned for years.. every once and a while we have a problem but interstate stands behind the product!

Yeah I am gonna try it out. You don't go to the factory, just to a actual Interstate store. I had never heard of this but my buddy was pricing batteries for his Sierra and they told him about their recons-so He bought his for 23 bucks. Looks brand new. They said they have shelves of these because they can't send them back to the company because there is nothing wrong with them, they just can't sell them as new. I'll let you guys know what I think when I get it.

Hey Pokman. I have used "blemished" batteries for years. They weren't Interstate brand name , but the idea of selling imperfect batteries is not new. Never had a problem with them yet.

I try to buy them whenever I can. unfortunately they don't come recon in all sizes.
