I have had JBA Cat-Forward headers on my 2002 4.7L since 2004,
and I currently have more than 130,000 problem free miles on them. The rest of my exhaust remains totally original.

The two reasons I chose JBA short tubes.
#1 direct bolt-on replacements for the cracked & leaking original exhaust manifolds.
#2 a boost in horse power & torque.

I recently ran into a couple of snowflakes in a Facebook group for 1st generation Tundra trucks that made it clear to anyone that was dumb enough to listen that JBA short tubes were a waste of money, because they did not produce any additional HP and that they robbed you of torque. It turns out that one or two of these snowflakes market long tube headers and that's just fine, but they don't need to lie about JBA short tubes.

The truth of the matter is that when you replace the factory exhaust manifolds with JBA short tubes and do nothing else - you gain 14 RWHP and 17 RWTQ over the factory exhaust manifolds.

Marketers that lie about their competition are not to be trusted.
