I think the subs are in the rear doors . I can't hear anything coming from that thing under the rear seat either...?Does anyone know if there are adjustments that can be made to the amp on the JBL 10 speaker w/sub stereo sytem??? Specifically, I would like to turn up the volume to the sub woofer. Even with the Bass controll set at 5, I can barely hear anything coming out of the sub woofer. Even with the rear seat raised and my ear right next to the sub assy, it seems like its volume is at about 1/5 of the door speakers.
Thanks!!
The 10" sub is behind the driver in that jbl plastic sealed box under the seat. No you can't hear it real well, but you can feel it.I think the subs are in the rear doors . I can't hear anything coming from that thing under the rear seat either...?
I would agree that an aftermarket sub is always going to sound better than an OEM. However, I feel that this is more an issue of the amp not delivering enough wattage to the sub unit. That is why I am wondering if this is somehow adjustable through the amp. Just replacing the sub probably isn't going to change much unless you add a powered sub with its own internal amp, which may just be the way we'll have to go.The 10" sub is behind the driver in that jbl plastic sealed box under the seat. It does okay, but i wouldn't mind upgrading to a better sub. If one was available, & it would be worth it.
