UPDATED: had to get a new Rheostat Switch (fried it) and had to CUT the Dimmer wire out.

I just installed my new Kenwood KDC-MP345U HU onto my 2005 Toyota Tundra. I doubled checked the wiring cables and nothing was wrong. The problem is that the Instrument Panel where the Gauges and the Switches for the air won't light up. Any ideas??

I know this is pretty obvious..... but did you check all the connections on the A/C control panel before you put it all back together? Could be something as simple as a loose connection back there.
