First time posting. Love the insights . I have a 2008 Tundra 4.7. I have noticed that there is s slight knocking when the engine is cold, especially in winter. Does not happen when outside temp is 70+. Once the engine begins to warm up it stops. I've checked the oil level and everything is fine. I'm think it may be the exhaust manifold leak. Once the metal warms up and expands it stops. Anyone had this and if so, what did you do.

Thanks

How many miles does your 2008 have on it?

Are you using the correct weight oil? Make sure it's not heavier than what is recommended.

If the engine runs & performs fine, just drive like a grandmother until it warms up and quiets down.
This would be more of a ticking sound, but if it is a cracked exhaust manifold consider JBA short tubes, they are a direct replacement.
