hello board im a new owner of a 2005 sr5 toy tundra only has 11,000 miles on it and tis is my first toyota and first 4wd vehicle so far i like it but i am not tooo sure of how good he mpg should be

As to fuel mileage don't b surprised if its only around 14 mpg others post higher but they must push or tow there vehicles around town.

Yeah, he's right. The best I have gotten is a little over 17, but the worst I have gotten has been 13. That is without towing my boat though.

So, I guess if you're averaging about 15, you're doing okay.

Been several posts way to many in fact on fuel mileage, learn the search function and it will become your friend.
My worst is 9.65 and the best is 15.9

Welcome, I also have an 05 SR5 4x4, great choice.:tu: If you search the mileage threads you will see a wide range of mileage figures, some trucks just seem to get better mileage than others for whatever reason. Mine sits on the lower end of the scale, I get about 10-12 MPG city and about 15-16 highway, others post better figures but that's what mine gets.
