I am going to replace the lower control arms on my 2003 Sequoia. Does anybody who did the job knows of any tricks so the steering rack doesn't have to be unbolted and pushed back? Everything is so rusty on my tree that every time I try to remove bolts, something breaks. Would love to avoid touching things that I don't need to.

I've done this job on my 2004 Tundra, and I definitely had to push back the steering rack for removal and installation. Your rear LCA bolts come out towards the rear of the truck and the heads of the bolts cannot clear the rack. Even with the steering rack moved back and manipulated, the bolts were still rubbing against the tie rod boots.

You've got this.
