Did you figure out the issue?

I am having the same problem with my 04 Sequoia SR5. Not only my high beam dash light stopped working but also the high beam itself is not working anymore.

The LEDs draw so little current that you may need to add a capacitor to one or both bulbs. I had a similar problem on my 00 Tundra, and now they work fine. And they're much brighter than the original halogen replacements. Additionally, I replaced all the interior lights with CAN-BUS LEDs, and they've caused no issues so far (8 months later).

I have similar issue with my 01 Tundra.

The LED headlights are awesome, both high and low beams work great, but no dash high beam light any more, and also no fog lights any more. Seems related. Following.

We obviously need to learn more about this capacitor issue. :)
