im not talking anyone out of lifting their truck, i'm just saying do it right, dont skimp out just to get height and look cool, do it right. 37's are expensive to run and will break alot of ****, just figure out realistically what you can afford and what will be best suited for your usage. for me 37s will never come to play, would i want them? yes. but in the long run i would never get the use out of them. Guess im getting old :/

Just to throw it out there, I have a little over $5k in JUST the front end of my SAS (axle, gears, locker, install kit, coil overs, heim joints, metal, brakes etc) and that was with me already having almost all the steering for it and doing absolutely everything fab wise myself. Add $1500 for brand new Toyo M/T's, and your already at $6500 and you still have to buy a rear axle with all the gears and what not for that, wheels, drivelines, brake lines, shocks..... the list literally goes on and on.

I ran a body lift for a couple years with some pretty good wheeling involved. I had one bolt loosen ever so slightly. I tightened it with loc-tite, checked all the others, and never had a problem with it after that. I agree that body lifts get a bad review but if they are installed correctly, you will not have a problem with them. It is all about proper install and maintenance. Would I ever do another body lift? No, because I do not like the way they look, but that is it.

At the end of the day it's your truck so do what you'll be happy with... I know plenty of people that stack leveling kicks, combine lifts and still give them hell off road... If your goal is 37s look in my sig I'm about to put 37s granted it wont be as high but its one of the smoothest lifted trucks iv been in. Just don't let people talk you out of what you really want.
You failed to make specific mention that you're also running Camburg uniball UCAs ($530 + install) and Icon coilovers ($1,000+). Makes a significant difference.

the biggest hang up i have since i lifted my truck with the RCD is the bump steer i get. i could throw on a steering stabilizer but its not high on the priority list. the second part that i dont like is the stupid yaw control which goes off all the time when pulling. i just disconnect the sensor on the master cylinder now. nobody had any solutions to the problem when i asked in another thread.
other than that the truck rides nice. its a little noisier from the tires but i think a bit of the extra noise is coming through the rack with the polyurethane bushings.
